Kraken Waterslide, Adventure World

Spiralling down over a 260m long run and 30m vertical drop, the uniquely tailored ProSlide Tornado60 ‘The Kraken’ ride is one of the longest waterslides in Australia. Located at Adventure World in Perth, this slide provides excitement to patrons young and old. The four person raft must negotiate over 150 meters of pitch-black twists and turns before dropping almost 8m vertically in to the massive 60-foot funnel upstream of the landing pool. An ultrafine filtration system coupled with an automatic chlorine gas sanitation system maintains perfect water quality, whilst variable speed centrifugal pumps return the slide water back up the hill at minimal running cost.
